Refund policy

1. General Return Policy
We offer a 30-day return period, meaning you can request a return within 30 days of receiving your item. To be eligible for a return, the product must meet the following criteria:

It is in the same condition as when you received it.

It is unworn and unused.
-
All tags are still attached.
-
It is in its original packaging.
-
You have the invoice or other proof of purchase.

Once your return request is received, we will provide information regarding the exact return process and the shipping address. Please note that we cannot accept packages sent back to us without prior coordination.
The 30-day return policy is an additional right voluntarily provided by the Seller, over and above the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) required by law.

Restocking Fee: We have no hidden costs; we do not charge a restocking fee ($0$).
2. Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt. Contact us immediately if:

The item is defective or damaged, or
-
You received the wrong item.
This allows us to evaluate the issue and take the necessary steps (replacement, repair, or refund).
3. Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, specifically:

Goods that are not prefabricated and were manufactured based on the consumer's specific instructions or explicit request.

Items that are clearly personalized or custom-engraved.

Gift cards.
In accordance with Section 29 (1) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), the right of withdrawal without justification cannot be exercised for custom-made or personalized (e.g., engraved) products. For items purchased during a sale, specific return conditions will be indicated in the description of the given promotion. If you have questions about a specific item, please get in touch.
4. Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to:

Return the item you have according to the steps described above, and
-
Once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
As soon as the returned product is received and approved, we will process the refund for the original item.
5. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (European Union)
For shipments within the European Union, consumers are entitled to a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal without justification under applicable EU regulations. This means you have the right to:

Cancel your order without providing a reason, or
-
Return the product within 14 days of receipt.
Conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal:

The product must be in the same condition as received (unworn, unused, and with tags intact).

The item must be returned in its original packaging.

You must possess the invoice or proof of purchase.
6. Refund Process
We will notify you once we have:

Received your returned item.
-
Inspected its condition.
We will inform you if the refund request has been approved. Upon approval, the refund will be initiated within 14 days of the date we were notified of your withdrawal.

Method of Refund: Refunds are always issued to the original payment method used during the purchase (unless otherwise agreed upon in writing).

Return Address: The specific return address will always be provided during the prior email coordination.
Note: Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account. If 15 days have passed since we approved your return and you have not yet received your refund, please contact us at: support@silaztech.com
7. Information on the Statutory Right of Withdrawal
(Based on Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.))
According to Section 8:1, Paragraph (1), Point 3 of the Civil Code, a Consumer is defined as: a natural person acting outside the scope of their profession, independent occupation, or business activity. Therefore, legal entities (companies, associations, etc.) may not exercise the right of withdrawal without justification.
Pursuant to Section 20 of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), the consumer is entitled to the right of withdrawal without justification. In the case of the sale of Goods, the deadline for exercising this right is:

14 calendar days from the receipt of the Goods;

Or, in the case of multiple products ordered, from the receipt of the last delivered item.
The consumer may exercise their right of withdrawal during the period between the conclusion of the contract and the receipt of the Goods. If the Seller fails to provide adequate information regarding the conditions of the right of withdrawal, the 14-day deadline is extended by 12 months. If the Seller provides this information during the extended period, the deadline expires on the 14th day after the information is communicated.
8. Statement of Withdrawal
The consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal:

Through an unambiguous statement, or
-
By using the withdrawal form template available on the website.
The right of withdrawal is considered exercised within the deadline if the consumer sends their statement before the period expires. In the case of a written withdrawal, it is sufficient to post the statement or send it via email within the deadline. It is the consumer's responsibility to prove that they have exercised the right of withdrawal in accordance with the law. The Seller will acknowledge receipt of the withdrawal statement electronically.
9. Seller's Obligations in Case of Withdrawal
Refund Obligation: If the consumer withdraws from the contract as defined by law, the Seller shall refund the total amount paid by the consumer, including the standard delivery fees, no later than 14 days from the date the Seller was informed of the withdrawal. The Seller is not obliged to refund additional costs resulting from the consumer choosing a more expensive shipping method than the least expensive standard delivery offered.
Method of Refund: By default, the refund will be processed using the same payment method used by the consumer, unless the consumer expressly consents to a different method—provided it does not incur any additional costs for the consumer. The Seller is not liable for delays caused by an incorrectly provided bank account number or mailing address.
Right of Retention: The Seller may withhold the refund until:

The consumer has returned the Goods, or
-
The consumer has provided credible proof that the Goods have been sent back; whichever is earlier.
Please note that we are unable to accept packages sent via "Cash on Delivery" (COD) or postage-due.
10. Consumer's Obligations in Case of Withdrawal
Returning the Goods: The consumer is obliged to return the goods or hand them over to the Seller (or their authorized representative) without delay, but no later than 14 days from the date the statement of withdrawal was made. The deadline is considered met if the consumer dispatches the package before the 14-day period expires.

Return Shipping Costs: The direct cost of returning the goods shall be borne by the consumer (e.g., purchasing the shipping label and postage). Goods must be returned to the address provided by the Seller. Please note that we do not accept packages sent via "Cash on Delivery" (COD) or postage-due.
Diminution of Value: The consumer is liable for any diminution in the value of the goods resulting from use beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal: In accordance with Section 29 (1) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in cases including, but not limited to:

Goods that are not prefabricated, but were manufactured based on the consumer's specific instructions or explicit request (personalized items).

Goods that are perishable or have a short shelf life.
-
Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
-
Goods which, by their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.
-
Sealed audio or video recordings or computer software, if the seal has been broken after delivery.

Digital content provided on a non-tangible medium, if performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
